Now for the important stuff! Here at Owl & Orchid Designs we want our customers to have the best experience possible. Below are our shop policies. Please read through the policies for any questions you may have regarding our brand and our policies.

Privacy Policy:

Owl & Orchid Designs take our customers privacy seriously. "I", "We", "Us" is referring to Owl & Orchid Designs. We will share some customer information with other companies in order to better serve you. (Example: Email signup, your name and address with the shipping company so we can ship your package to you.) You will have the option to sign up for our company newsletter. This newsletter will keep you informed of the wonderful products we will have to offer, special offers, as well as insightful information on how to care for our products. You will be given an option to opt-in or opt-out of this newsletter service. Your email address will only be used to correspond concerning an order (ex. information for the order or checking and replying for an order status) and for the newsletter service (providing you opt-in for the newsletter). *Please check back to see any policy updates. We will update our store policies as needed to better serve you, Our customer.

Timeframes:

Owl & Orchid Designs is a hand-crafted shop. We love and enjoy designing and making our products by hand and equally when it comes to inspecting the final product to ensure customer satisfaction. We estimate a time frame of 1(one) week for custom orders, and a little longer for multiple orders. We aim to complete our orders in a timely manner. Some orders will not take a week to make (example: a pre-designed template that is personalized). We will email you for approval on custom orders before we do our acrylic engraving. Please note: once an approval is made, no more changes can be made as it goes into the engraving process.

*Holidays and weather events can cause shipping times to be delayed so please keep that in mind. We will provide you with tracking information so you will be able to see when your unique purchase will arrive. Photos:

**Please note: Please submit photos that are well-lit, preferably in natural light. If your photo is not well-lit, we will still do our best to work with it. By submitting your photo you agree that the photo is yours and you own the copyright to the photo; and are giving Owl & Orchid Designs permission to use your photo for this service. We cannot accept photos that are copy-written by another party unless they sign a waiver allowing us to do so. We will not use your photo for any other business purposes unless you give us permission. We will not use your photo to promote our products or for any other business purpose other than to provide the service of which you request for the lamp making process. Any photos you submit with your review(s) will be used for that purpose only and by submitting them you give Owl & Orchid Designs permission to post your photo and review to our website. *Please see our review policy.

*Once the line art is complete, we will submit an email of the image with our watermark for approval back to you. Please reply to our email with "I approve of the final line art". Doing this will ensure you understand that no further changes can be made. Please reply within 12 hours of receiving the email to prevent your lamp from being delayed in production. The watermark will not be on the final product. No further changes can be made once we receive the final approval. Once you give the approval to the line art we will go ahead with the engraving onto the acrylic. *We do not and will not accept any nude or offensive photos.*

Shipping:

We know you can't wait to receive your wonderful item(s). Here at Owl & Orchid Designs, we ship our packages out on Monday and Thursday of each week. This timeframe does not include the shipping companies timeframe. Orders that are made between Monday and Wednesday will be shipped out on Thursday. Orders made between Thursday and Sunday will be shipped out on Monday. Please see our Timeframes section above as custom orders do not apply to this shipping timeframe. Please note that holidays and weather events can delay shipping and this is out of our control. If for some reason your product is damaged during shipping, please let us know by emailing us and submitting photos of the damage items with the packaging.

Returns:

Owl & Orchid Designs wants our customers to love the items you purchase as much as we love making them. We do everything to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase before we ship it out. In the event that you are not satisfied, we can offer a return on non-custom made and non-personalized items only. The returned product must be in new, unused condition and in original packaging. We will offer a return on the lamp base providing it is in unused condition and returned in unused condition in its original packaging, if it was sold as a separate unit, not as a lamp unit. Personalized bases will not be eligible for return, unless there was an issue with the lamp being damaged during shipping. *Please see our shipping policy for instructions concerning shipping damaged items. Customer is responsible for all returned shipping expenses for unwanted items. There will be a 75% restocking fee for certain items. *Please see our restocking and refunds store policies for restocking fee information concerning returnable items. If a product is defective, we will pay shipping cost for returning the product.

Refunds:

Please allow us between 8-10 business days to process and submit your refund. Owl & Orchid Designs will only accept a refund if the items received back is returned in new, unused condition and in original packaging. We will process refunds only after receiving the products back in new condition and original packaging. A restocking fee will be applied to all non-custom, non-personalized items. *Please see our restocking fees policy.

Restocking Fees: We will apply a 75% restocking fee for all non-custom, non-personalized items being returned. *Please see our refund policy for what items we allow to be returned.

Cancellations:

You can request a cancellation for an order up to 30 minutes after placing the order to receive a refund. Custom and Personalized orders can be canceled only up to and/or before the final approval process is done. We will only refund half of the purchase price for that product being canceled in order to compensate our shop time and labor. (this applies only to custom and personalized items) However, if the product is already approved by our customer to go to engraving, we will not be able to issue a refund for that product.

To cancel: Please send us an email to cancel your order. Include in the subject line "Cancel Order" and include the order number in the email request. Please allow up to 8-10 days for us to process your refund. * Please see our refund policies section.

Sales Tax:

Depending on what state you live in, you may have to pay sales tax. These taxes will be collected during check out and may vary depending on the state you live in.

Product warranties:

We stand behind our products! With proper care, we believe our acrylic lamps can last many years. We do offer a 3 month warranty only on our lamp base as we design and 3D print them in house. The warranty is only for defective bases. We do not offer warranty on the acrylic or LED lights.

Care Instructions:

We believe that our products can last a long time with proper care. Some of the filaments we use are UV and weather protected, while others are not. We will list in our product descriptions whether or not if the lamp base is ok for uv exposure. We encourage our customers to not have the base sitting in direct sunlight due to the acrylic. As of right now, the LED lights we provide are waterproof up to 1m for a few hours. So if someone were to spill water on the lamp accidentally, the lamp and/or light should not be affected.

Packaging:

We ship our products in eco-friendly shipping packaging.

Size chart:

Owl & Orchid Designs offer several acrylic lamp bases. So our sizes will vary according to the base chosen. We will list the product dimensions in our description so you can make sure it will fit in your lovely display space. We also offer several acrylic panel sizes for our lamp bases. Those sizes will also be listed on the purchase option pages.
